Donations

Your gifts of time and/or money can make a significant difference in the lives of our children. Financial contributions may be made by cash, check, electronic funds transfer, or credit card. No matter how you give – annually, in memory or honor of someone, purchasing a special event ticket, or through planned giving arrangements – the children benefit.

Does your company have a matching gift program? You may be able to double or even triple your gift with little trouble on your part. Just contact your Human Resources or Community Relations Department to obtain the necessary paperwork.

If you have questions about donating to Edgewood Children’s Center, email us at development@eccstl.org
or Call the Development Office at (314) 919-4746.

History at a Glance

Consider the enormous task of converting a room full of files dating back to 1925 up through the present into electronic storage that may be accessed by current staff for a variety of uses.

Enter KnowledgeLake, a
St. Louis-based software company, in partnership with Microsoft and Bôwe Bell + Howell to the rescue. Beginning in September 2003, Susan Corrington and 2 dedicated volunteers systematically copied and stored these files on CDs by using specialized equipment loaned to us by KnowledgeLake.

As Edgewood moves forward, the standardization of records retention will enable us to meet HIPAA compliance requirements and significantly reduce the time spent processing and retrieving client files, allowing for reallocation of staff resources. The team at KnowledgeLake intends to continue its partnership with Edgewood to ensure that the center can effectively serve the children of St. Louis.
