WELCOME TO EDGEWOOD CHILDREN'S CENTER, A GREAT CIRCLE AGENCY
At Edgewood Children’s Center, our mission is to provide compassionate care and treatment to restore children and strengthen families through intensive therapy, special education, case management and support services. Edgewood serves more than 1,000 children and family members daily. We offer highly individualized treatment, education, and community-based services to children and their families.
In order to meet the increasing demand for services to children and families statewide, in October 2009, Edgewood Children’s Center and Boys & Girls Town of Missouri merged to form a new organization, Great Circle. The goal of Great Circle is to create a stronger voice in advocacy for children and families and provide streamlined and innovative services.
Edgewood Children’s Center Opens Residential Home for Children with Autism
One of the first of its kind in Missouri, the residential unit at Edgewood will be home to children who are no longer able to reside in a typical family home environment. All on one campus, kids will receive individualized treatment, round-the-clock care and supervision, attend school with services specially geared to their educational needs, and participate in therapies designed to help stabilize behaviors.
