Contract Therapist
Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities include providing in-home individual and family therapy to children and families referred to Great Circle. The Therapist is a contracted position supervised by the Community Services Director.
Responsibilities:
- Contacts referred family within 24 hours of receiving referral from Community Services Director.
- Schedules assessment and individual/family session based on the needs and schedule of the individual and/or family.
- Provide individual and family therapy based on the treatment plan developed in conjunction with the family, children, courts or other referral source.
- Complete all documentation for services required by insurance, private pay, Medicaid or other agency contracts that a Great-Circle maintains with referring agencies. This includes completing all paperwork required for prior-authorization of Medicaid and private insurance.
- Complete appropriate documentation (assessments, treatment plans, treatment review reports, progress notes) within the FamCare system. Documentation is to be completed within 24 hours of providing services.
- Maintain contact with the Community Services Director regarding progress or concerns with each case as necessary.
- Submit Service Invoice Record to Community Services Director by the first business day of each month.
Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Ph.D. in Psychology. Must be licensed or provisionally licensed by the State of Missouri to perform Masters level counseling and be billable.
- Preferably some experience in in-home mental health services.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Typing abilities.
- Possess a current, valid driver’s license and meets Great-Circle requirements for insurance.
